January 29: Lecture:  “Climate Change: from Superstorms to Solutions”. San Elijo Campus of MiraCosta College, North Coastal San Diego County

Eve Simmons, environmental advocate and activist, will speak on the current status and effects of global warming, both locally and worldwide. She will offer solutions and actions we can take together to turn the tide against mankind’s worst weapon of mass destruction, now and for our future. Eve has lectured on climate change/disruption throughout Southern California and has lobbied for action on this issue both locally and in Washington D.C.     1:00-3:00pm. room 201

L.I.F.E. programs are held at 1 PM on Fridays and are free and open to the public. Lectures are held in room SAN201, on the San Elijo Campus of MiraCosta College, 3333 Manchester Ave, Cardiff by the Sea, CA, 92007.  Parking is free, and room #SAN201 is in the most Southwesterly building on campus.
